Essential Information to enter England from overseas

Everyone entering England from overseas (including UK nationals and residents) must provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken within 3 days of departure to England. This will be taken at the Mobile Collection Point located behind the church of St James in Medjugorje, at the facilities of the Malta Order Ambulance.

Fill in your Passenger Locator Form up to 48 hours before arrival. You must declare all countries you have visited or transited through in the 10 days prior to your arrival on your Passenger Locator Form.

Before departure check the list of red, amber, and green countries, as the list can change regularly.


UK nationals travelling to Croatia must present one of the following documents on arrival:

  • a negative COVID-19 antigen not older than 48 hours, or;

  • a negative PCR test result not older than 72 hours, or;

  • proof of a vaccination, or;

  • a doctor’s certificate of recovery following a positive test result between 11 and 180 days prior). (See ‘Demonstrating your COVID-19 vaccination status’).

You will need to complete an online entry form before you travel to Croatia.

You should carry a copy of your accommodation booking or proof of ownership of holiday homes / boats when arriving in Croatia. If you are travelling to Croatia for business, you should carry evidence of a business invitation or meetings.

ENTRY TO CROATIA


ENTRY TO BOSNIA & HERZEGOVINA

British nationals, including those with residence in Bosnia and Herzegovina, can enter Bosnia and Herzegovina with any of the following:

  • a negative COVID-19 (PCR) test result that is not older than 48 hours

  • confirmation of full vaccination at least 14 days before your arrival in Bosnia and Herzegovina. See ‘Demonstrating your COVID-19 vaccination status’

  • a certificate from a doctor showing you have recovered from COVID-19, 14 to 180 days before your arrival in Bosnia and Herzegovina


Amber List Passengers Checklist - What to do…

  1. Book a Fit to Fly test pre-departure.

  2. Book tests for day 2 and 8 (advise pre-departure from UK) You must book the 2 & 8 day test which costs £85. Book online here.

  3. Complete a Passenger Locator Form up to 48 hours before arrival back into the UK. You can do this on your mobile phone in Medjugorje.

  4. Take a PCR test within 3 days of departure to England. We will book this for you in Medjugorje but the cost of approx 45 Euros is payable by you, the pilgrim. If you test positive you are liable to self isolate in Medjugorje at your own expense.

  5. Make plans to self-quarantine in private accommodation for 10 full days after arrival (or full duration of stay if less than 10 days)

These measures apply to all persons (including UK nationals and residents) arriving in England from outside the common travel area comprising the United Kingdom, Ireland, the Isle of Man, and the Channel Islands. The British Overseas Territories are not in the common travel area. Public health requirements may vary depending upon in which nation of the UK you are staying.

Failure to comply with these measures is a criminal offence and you could be fined. There are a limited set of exemptions from these measures. Check the list exemptions carefully. You may be fined if you fraudulently claim an exception.


WHEN WE WILL TRAVEL AGAIN

We will only travel to a country on the UK traffic light system’s amber list if the requirements below pass:

1. The country’s borders are open. CURRENT STATUS = PASS

2. If there are no requirements for quarantine on arrival where you can’t forgo this quarantine period by providing evidence of a negative COVID-19 test or of being fully vaccinated. CURRENT STATUS = PASS
